MAX FEWTRELL, BRITISH F4 CHAMPION
Hunger, heart and consistency…
Max Fewtrell is the FIA British Formula 4 champion. Having secured funding on the back of a blistering performance in 2016 including 14 podiums, 3 race wins and the championship, Max is now racing for Tech 1 Racing and aims to continue his success towards his quest to reach the pinnacle of racing in F1.

Max began age 9 in carting and immediately achieved success in a sport that suited his quick thinking, on track skills and competitive drive, every once of which was needed to become F4 champion.

On the track and according to coach and mentor Ollie Holman “Max just gets it” and knows what he has to do to get the job done. In the buildup it’s all about pushing man and machine to extract the best possible time and on race day capitalising on the upfront work and converting it to a podium finish. Some days that’s not easy with bad weather or dreaded mechanical hick ups and it needs a calm head and professional attitude not to mention a positive team dynamic to get best possible result.

Adrenalin on the side
Away from the track (when he’s not travelling or preparing with the team) and in his own words Max is pretty ‘chilled out’ and in addition to a love of all things cars given half a chance likes to get on a ski slope where he admits he can experience some the adrenalin rush he’s accustomed too on the starting grid.
